  • {Welcome to Simone C Photography – the blog}

Hello there, (*waving*), my name is Simone Carter and I am a portrait photographer located in Brisbane. I absolutely love to photograph newborns, kids and families.

I am an avid lover of chocolate & have been known to eat spoonfuls of chocolate milo straight from the tin when chocolate supplies are low (don't tell my kids - I tell them NOT to do it, hehe!).
I have learnt to love & embrace my freckles.
I am inspired by light & love & all things shabby chic, vintage & whimsical.

My sessions are really informal and I am the sort of photographer who encourages spontaneity, playfulness, eskimo kisses, huge tickles & of course big belly laughs!

Call me on 0407 756 104 or email me simone@simonecphotography.com.au for a chat.

Mair – Brisbane Baby Photographer

♥ I had a long post written about baby Mair (pronounced ‘Myer’ – Welsh form of Mary), but I think I’ll let her beauty do all the talking. ♥

Emmy – Brisbane Newborn Photographer

Dear Emersyn (Emmy),

Emmy, thank you for being so patient with me, allowing me to snuggle you into little poses to show off your gorgeous fine features. You are Daddy’s princess and a little sister to Gus the Great Dane…and of course, mummy’s very special little girl. You have been born into a family of love & you are surrounded by people who cherish you.

I hope to meet you again one day so we can have a chat and a play together. xox

PS. Please thank your mummy and daddy for choosing and trusting me to capture this beautiful family time.

Sinä olet kaunis (you are beautiful) – Brisbane Baby Photographer

You truly are.

Your cheeks have to be amongst the squishiest and most gorgeous I’ve ever come across.

You purse your lips into an ‘O’ and then perfectly couple that with a stretch of your arms.

You have the most doting big sister in the world, always wanting cuddles.

How lucky are you to have such a caring big brother – he always wants to touch you to make sure you’re OK.

You are very much loved by your family both here and in Finland.

I hope to see more of you as you grow. xox
